Reading barcodes

This is easy - the barcode scanner handles everything for you.
If you use a USB scanner, the scanned barcode will be typed at the cursor - from here it is easy to process with LotusScript if needed.

Hej Jacob

I do not understand your article here? Like no code, link or anything.

Customers has been asking me: How do we get a barcode into Notes?
The answer is very simple:
1. Buy a usb scanner (like this http://www.idautomation.com/scanners/SC5USB.html)
2. Plug it in
3. Place the cursor in a editable field in Notes - and scan the barcode.
That's it - no code needed :-)

Do you need to have a barcode font loaded on your computer?

No, you don't need a barcode font on the pc til read barcodes with a scanner. The scanner will convert the barcode to characters....
